What is a toi?
Toi is the Kazakh word for a family celebration with a feast. There is a toi for almost every stage of life: the cradle (besik toi), first steps (tusaukeser), the bride's farewell (qyz uzatu), the wedding (üylenu toi) and milestone birthdays (mereitoi).
How is this better than a picture made in Canva?
A picture can only be looked at. A Shaqyrtu invitation is a web page: guests reply, open directions and see the countdown. You can still download it as an image.
Do guests need to sign up to reply?
No. A guest opens the link, enters a name and how many people are coming, and replies with one tap.
Can I edit it after sending?
Yes. If the time or venue changes, edit the invitation; the link stays the same and guests see the update straight away.
Can I pay from outside Kazakhstan?
Yes. Pay the one-off 4 990 ₸ with any Visa or Mastercard; your bank converts it to your card's currency.
